"The catchy picture is a great conversation starter; it helps the SPCA serving Erie County dispel the misconceptions surrounding pit bull terriers," said Sheila. "As any responsible owner knows, it's not these sweet and loyal animals that are the problem, but rather a handful of self-serving and unethical breeders. Sheila is pleased to report that since launching the Bred to Love campaign in Spring 2013, the number of pit bull terrier adoptions has been steadily increasing.
